Year 2 - Day 200 - July 20

Today, we covered a lot of ground but didn't do a ton of walking. I am SO exhausted from the last 3 days! We put our Muni passes to good use & went all over the place. We did walk as far as the Full House houses at Alamo Park, but then we took the bus to Golden Gate park. After meandering around in there for awhile, we decided to hit the road again. Originally, we were going to do some of the things in the park, but it was so jam packed with people that we decided not to bother. The Japanese Tea Garden was on our list, but it was elbow to elbow people in there which kind of took away from the peacefulness. Then we took the light rail to the beach and back. It's crazy that a 20 minute light rail trip takes you all the way to sand dunes! Of course it's too cold to swim, but beaches still make me happy. :) We also hit Japantown in the afternoon. For dinner, we went to Butterfly on the Embarcardo to use a Groupon. It was quite delicious, but too expensive to do if we weren't using the Groupon. For dessert we finally visited Ghiradelli square. A much more low key day before heading out of town in the morning...
