Year 3 - Day 123 - May 2

This is one of the Black Eyed Susan books for next year. It's about the man who figure out how to design giant balloons for the Macy's parade. I love the invention aspect - he starts with marionette puppets and basically goes upside down! I also look forward to paring the book with Milly & The Macy's Parade which is fictionalized.

While I'm looking forward to both of those things, I am in no hurry for November to get here for the lesson to be timely. ;)
