Year 2 - Day 263 - September 21

With all the rain we have been getting lately, I'm surprised there is still land showing. However, I'm not surprised by the appearance of many different types of mushrooms. This red type is all over the flower beds at the park 'n' ride. They look like red fingers sticking up out of the ground, especially because they grow in clusters. How very appropriate for Halloween - but I hope they (and the rain!) are gone by then. :)
