Year 2 - Day 255 - September 13

When we re-landscaped back in the spring, we chose to get our plants at a local nursery. WORST DECISION EVER. Out of the 10 plants we bought, 2 have now died. This one really makes me mad, because it was my favorite - the lilac bush. Grr. Honestly, I think that even though this one is dry and crusty today, I'm betting it's the excessive rain that did it in. It rained for basically 2 straight weeks. However, if we had gotten the plants at a big box store, we could get it replaced because they all have guarantees. Sigh...
