Year 2 - Day 294 - October 22

Even though I live within a few hours of the famous horses of Assateague Island, I had never seen one in person before today. It was pretty cool, but if we go again we'll definitely bring bikes and park on the free side and bike over. The horses are everywhere and really easy to find. Much easier than the bears at Sequoia (but not as easy as the rattlesnakes!) :) For much of our time, the horses were even closer than the one in this picture!
