Day 232 - August 20

Crazy, huh?  3 books in 3 days.  I enjoy Laura Lippman's books about Tess that are set in Baltimore, and I *really* liked "What The Dead Know" from a few years ago.  (I love books that I don't figure out!)  This one was good, but I didn't feel like there was a big A-HA moment.  Sometimes that's ok though.  Danielle made a comment in her Empire Falls review recently that some TV shows (FNL & Mad Men being the ones she mentioned that I watch) and books (like Empire Falls and this one) can go on and on without anything super big happening because the characters are being developed.  I hadn't thought about it in those words before - but it made sense, so now I know what category to put this book in. :)
