Year 3 - Day 205 - July 23

I have no idea why a random office supply company would send me a pen engraved with my name, town, and zipcode+4, but I'll keep the gift. :)

Year 3 - Day 179 - June 27

Last Monday, my mom mailed a box of books and cookies to us. She tried to time it so it would arrive on a day when my brother was here so all 3 of us could share. We have been wondering for a week where it might be, and today it appeared. Now we feel a little bad that we blamed the post office in our minds, because the address was a little tweaked from ours. :) Since the box sat in the hot sun all day, the cookies were actually soft when we opened them.

Then we drove down to Columbia for my friend's final Columbia Orchestra concert in the park. Good times!

Year 3 - Day 128 - May 7

We dropped the car off yesterday for an oil change with the bike rack in the trunk so that my hubby could ride over and pick up the car when it was done. Sadly, since the FedEx guy needed a signature, he was instead stuck at home all day waiting for the truck. I tried to feel bad, but since he got to lay on the couch and watch TV & play games all day while I worked, I failed in my attempts! Thank goodness I'm coming up on a week off in just a month! In the first 6 weeks or so of summer, I'm working 2 full weeks and 3 partial weeks with only 4th of July week completely obligation free. It's ok though, because at the end I'll have enough money to take a good vacation AND I'll have a brand new laptop. That's totally worth it!

Year 2 - Day 114 - April 25

This is the one piece of mail we got today.  It made me giggle, mostly because it's me that is (supposed to be) the house cleaner.  Wrong person, indeed!!!! :)
