Year 2 - Day 102 - April 13

This is the big maple tree in our back yard.  It's nice that it is so big but it's in terrible shape.  I don't know if the old owners actually broke it or if they just didn't take care of it and it broke itself, but it needs serious help.  At first we were hesitant because of the shade factor, but now that we have been here a year we are well aware of the path the sun takes.  It's only early early morning that the sun is on the opposite side of that tree - the rest of the day the sun is in the front of the house.  So it's getting a haircut!  So are the two other trees, but they're just getting their bangs trimmed.
